A while back, I visited Las Vegas. It was very hot. Actually, scratch that. It was very, very hot. It was quite an experience though. It was filled with walking (which I love) and hot weather (which I don't love).
To save you from a step-by-step recount of my travels (which would surely bore you to death), here's two little snippets of my trip:
1) The hotel housekeepers were always working. They were working in the morning when I went out for breakfast. I saw the housekeepers and their carts of linen when I went out for lunch. I saw them again when I went out for dinner. I saw them cleaning when I went to mail some postcards. And I am pretty sure that if I sleepwalked, I would have seen the housekeepers cleaning then as well.
2) The parking garage was far away. I will trouble myself to list out how to get to the garage from the hotel room for your entertainment. First, I had to get out of the hotel room, take the elevator down to the first floor, walk through the casino, walk through an atrium, walk through the front desk, take an escalator, go outside, go through a walkway to the parking garage, take the elevator to the level where the car was, and walk through the parking garage to get to the car. Oh yeah! I also had to pass through a humongous fish tank in the process. No wonder it was free to park there...
Here are some pictures from my trip. Enjoy!
