Gobble Gobble

The best part of Thanksgiving - leftovers for breakfast the next day!

This year, I wanted to do something different, so I roasted a duck instead of the usual turkey. Although the 6 pound duck served 4 people perfectly for dinner, I wish I bought a larger duck. There wasn't any duck leftover for breakfast! (There is, however, a great duck carcass remaining for making soup!)

Thanksgiving recap post coming soon! (After I finish this slice of pie...)

  3. I love duck, I made it most years at Christmas. It's delicious. I do the same thing you do and use the carcass from my chicken, duck etc to make stock or soup. It's a great way to use everything. Your pics look great, thanks for stopping by my blog and commenting :)

  4. Hi, Amand, I love a good roast duck...it has been a tradition in my family for many years...growing up! Your amazing colorful, healthy, and delicious veggies sound wonderful...not for breakfast for me; but for sure throughout the rest of the day to nibble on!
